This Spike Tomahawk is pure perfection. Most of the “tactical” tomahawk’s I came across in my hunt had knife sharp thin spikes, not quite the purpose of an axe spike. This one has a nice point to it however its not a knife and will take more of a beating, the actual purpose of a spike on a tactical tomahawk is punching through things. The finish on this axe is very well done, love the acid wash look and the scalloping of the G10 handles. The axe edge came razor sharp but isn’t super fragile either, its just the right thickness to be strong but also still great for chopping or slicing. The sheath is pretty good, the lockup of the axe head in the sheath could use a bit more tension so you could rest assured it isn’t going to accidentally deploy however not hard to fix with an added piece of paracord.
