Words can’t express how bada*s this knife is and the overall quality! Though unfortunately injuries have caught up to me & not operational anymore but I still train & partake in shooting competitions & no matter military or public safety I’ve always felt more comfortable with a fixed blade not only for as I say the get away from me tool but also as a do whatever pointy objects are supposed to do(open boxes ha)also I have folders but usually don’t buy expensive ones (though still quality but the days of Emersons-Microtac are past + med retirment wallet isn’t like previous wallets & after loosing one the gifted ones r like coins & on da shelf)as I’ve lost few over the yrs or it’s used for tasks where I don’t cry if it needs to get tossed(esp pub saf). I was truly fortunate/blessed to get this knife on sale & its my 1st though won’t be my last bc it’s a solid knife & would pay full price bc I honestly think your getting your money’s worth & than some. Not to sound like a diva but I wasn’t sure about gray & black as I’m not a flashy person it’s actually quite sharp in multiple ways. I was also slightly concerned as I have big mits (wear a 2xl tac glove) & bought knives that just don’t feel/fit right, yet this knife is unique in its kinda a Mind F bc no matter who’s held it all found it fit their hands well & no matter gloved or barehanded it just grips & unlike others not something that I felt a potential of dropping. Stroup is a brand that’s is known & they have a distinct look, it’s towards weaker side but also still able to cross draw it but it being on my duty belt(do have a SOCP in my vest 1 is none)& bc of where I often shoot often asked about it, though getting it back at times been a challenge as most like it. Lastly I’ve had this knife for bit of time & have waited to write this as I want to use it B4 writing a bs review or give it 5 stars just cause no it’s definitely earned them & I’m straight fwd no filter type person like besides the knife the quality of the kydex & retention is also truly amazing as it has a settle click of sorts(think it’s something that I’m hyper aware of but also feel it lock in though my days of running are also done it’s just “how I roll” now & I’ve may of practiced tactical rolls a few times not falls lol) & it’s like though might be overkill but still use a Safariland Holster & this sheath feels like that or I don’t question if it’s still there if something happens bc of the craftsmanship of retention. Even though I might not be Operational or Frontline anymore & I don’t purposely abuse my gear but I also don’t baby it so it’s kinda Marine Proof ha if I can get or it had a tactical crayon holder it would be even better though it’s like my F’s I kinda need to hide them as I don’t share well & almost black/whiskey on both.
Not sure why your still reading this as you should of checked out by now & you would know for yourself…..Guess we have to do it Barney Style stop reading this, place into cart & checkout (this isn’t a paid endorsement nor am I held responsible if spouse gets mad you bought another tool!! Though unsure which is worse them or the pups stare down as both are very close to the eyes of a PI S/DI ya I’m not messing with either of them)
