This was my first ever actual hand made fix blade and absolutely love it. Sharp and feels really good in the hand. Glad to have a good blade and plus one that was partially designed by a fellow Hoosier.

One of the best blades I have owned. Always great to support a fellow vet from Bragg. Knife is great, I do wish the sheath came with a IWB clip for an alternate method of carry. That is the only thing I would “improve” on. But the blade itself is one of my favorites out of all that I own.

I was looking for a fixed blade to carry on the weakside in case of an encounter with a gun grabber or gun hand being injured. The primitive appearance is what first caught my eye. Fits my hand just right. Not to large, top notch holster, and good service.

Great solidly constructed knife. Third one. All are great. Lots of steel. Thick spine. You know you have a good blade when you pick it up. Great sheath. Retains the knife well.

The knife is awesome. The picture does not do it justice. I bought it as a gift for a friend. Great job, and thanks for your service to our country.

The Bravo 5 has immediately proven itself to be the perfect “everything” knife. I’m a fan of 1095 steel, and if you take care of it, you’ll never be let down. Equally important is the handle. Chris & company do one of the best handles I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. I have large hands, but even this smaller design is extremely comfortable for me. Lastly, the sheath is absolutely bombproof! Including a TecLoc is a strong bonus.
    Just buy one… you won’t be sorry⚔️

So far this knife is just the right size for EDC. I carry a folder for work but it’s a slow open so I got this for self defense. I like the grip and the blade. It’s considerably light. Lighter than I thought it would be. Very impressed with the overall craftsmanship of the knife.

Purchased the Bravo 5 specifically with the intent of it being an off-side in-pocket carry fixed blade.
I’m adamant that a serious defensive/offensive blade needs both mechanical stops for hard forward & rearward movements.
I train in forward hammer, icepick, fencer’s & reverse grips & always emphasize stikes with the butt so a full tang & extended hard pommel is critical.
The Bravo 5 delivers in spades for all these forms although you have to accept a little discomfort if you flip to an edge hammer or edge in icepick. Those grips are still doable but the compact handle size, not the design, is at play here.
I wouldn’t trade the effective concealment size for limited comfier grip options.
The Bravo 5 arrived quickly, sharp, perfect fit & the grip traction is AWESOME! The butt hook and pommel don’t permit rearward hand shift with pommel strikes & the lowered ricasso section of the blade keeps the hand solid & safely off the blade in hard point forward strikes.
It disappears into my front pockets (wrapped the sheath in heavy rubber bands) & the knife comes out with just a nudge of thumb & forefinger on the sheath.
Speaking of the sheath – with the TecLoc that ships on the sheath – it’s a good medium level of retention. Without the TecLoc addung pressure to the sheath the retention is far less – which is exactly what I wanted!!!
I wanted a rapid access fixed blade that would be readily deployed with my left hand – not an arm wrestling match to get it out! I’m actually thrilled with how the Bravo 5 sheath fits that bill.
Sharp, quick out of the sheath, fast in the hand, secure in your grip & non-lethal pommel strike options…
    The Bravo 5 ROCKS!!!

I love this knife. The handle cuts feel great in the hand. The only thing I don’t care much for is the sheath belt clip. You can’t adjust the angles much, can only have it horizontal or vertical.

The blade itself is very sharp and high quality my only complaint is the brown splotches on the finish of the blade. The sheath on the other hand is okay at best. Very little retention. I emailed customer service about the sheath but never received a response on possible increased retention solutions.

As soon as I opened the box I knew I had made an awesome decision in buying this knife. Immediately when you handle the knife it molds to your hand. Incredibly sharp right out of the box. The knife is rugged and ready for work, but you also tell it was made with attention to details. Great job! I will be buying more soon!

Some of the best looking knifes. There is just something about the way the metal blade is cut. It makes it stand out. I have shown Stroup knifes to a lot of people. Their reaction is wow. I will continue to buy Stroup Knifes. American made by a veteran. That may not be the way everyone looks at it but in my world ( TEXAS ) any serving member is a veteran. And as the late Toby Keith said we need to stand up an salute. Or maybe say thanks. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!!!!!!!

The knife is almost perfect, the only complaint I have is the wooden handle scales keep coming loose. But other wise the grip on the knife is perfect, sharp, and easily concealable. The finish on the blade is outstanding and badass. Can’t wait to get the tu1
